Acquire Child Development and Pedagogy Sample Papers free! The CTET exam is conducted by CBSE and it is the minimum certificate that is required for aspirants to be working as teachers. Two papers are conducted in CTET such as Paper 1 (for classes 1st to 5th) and Paper 2 (for classes 6th to 8th). Aspirants who want to teach classes 1st to 8th need to give both the papers. One subject of the CTET syllabus is child development and pedagogy which is about the development of a student and their behavior.  

Teaching is a very noble profession and it requires teachers to first understand how the students behave in different situations and how they have to tackle them and impart education, which is important to understand otherwise the teachers won’t be able to bring out the best of students. Teachers are responsible for the mental, emotional, academic and social development of the students. The child development & pedagogy with other sections of pedagogy accumulates 60% weightage of Paper 1 and 53% of Paper 2. The level of the questions asked in this section are easy to moderate. The students have to work hard on this subject as it is quite different from the one they have studied in school.
