DSSSB Syllabus 2017

• 1/17, 2/17, 7/17 posts will have One Tier General examination. For this, examination code is I-T-G.
• 4/17, 6/17, 9/17, 10/17 posts will have One Tier Technical examination. For this, examination code is I-T-T.
• 3/17 post will have Two Tier General examination. For this, examination code is II-T-G. There will also be an exit exam (qualifying).
• 5/17, 8/17 posts will have Two Tier Technical examination. For this, examination code is II-T-T1.

One Tier G/T examination syllabus

Section A

• General awareness
• General intelligence and reasoning ability
• Arithmetical and numerical ability
• Hindi language and comprehension and english language and comprehension

Section B

• Applicable only for Tier Technical only.
• Will have post specific subject related questions.

Two Tier examination syllabus

Tier 1 exam syllabus in two tier exam for DSSSB recruitment 2017 will be same as that of tier 1 exam of one tier exam.

Tier 2 exam syllabus; Part I MCQ / objective.

• General intelligence and reasoning ability of higher level than that of tier 1.
• Quantitative aptitude
• General awareness with syllabus of tier 1 above and also on GA related to history, culture, demography, geography & economy of Delhi, Administrative set up and Governance in NCT of Delhi, various schemes of Delhi Govt.
• English language and comprehension of higher level than that of tier 1.

Educational Qualification

• 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or university.
• A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English typing or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

DSSSB Recruitment 2017 – Procedure to apply

The candidates aspiring to apply for the above mentioned posts can visit the official website of DSSSB to fill the application form as and when the application form is made available. According to the notification of DSSSB Recruitment , the application form will be made available from 01 August 2017 and the candidates would be able to fill the application form till 21 August 2017. The DSSSB has yet not made clear if the application form will also be available offline in the market.
