UPTET 2019 Conducted Despite Bharat Bandh
UPTET 2019 exam, which was earlier scheduled for December 22, 2019 had been postponed to be conducted on January 8, 2020. But with many of the Trade Unions declaring a “Bharat Bandh” on 8th of January 2020, there was an air of apprehension around this exam.
But despite the Bharat Bandh, UPTET 2019 has been successfully conducted on 8th January 2020, by the authorities. The UPTET 2019 was conducted in 65 exam centres allotted for the exam, spread across Uttar Pradesh.
A total of 16,34,249 candidates had registered for the UPTET 2019, out of which 10,68,912 had registered for the Primary Level exam (for classes 1-5) while the 5,65,337 candidates had registered for the Upper Primary Level exam (for classes 6-8).

The last date to register for UPTET 2019 was November 20, 2019. The last date to pay the exam fees was November 21, 2019. The date of declaration of the Results of UPTET 2019 is yet to be declared.
